Is this as terrible as it sounds? Will Phoebe be playing Smelly Cat accompanied by an orchestra? Does anyone want this?

I'm sure it's just suppose to be fun, and not art. But to answer your question: no, I do not want this.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

What do you have against a parody show, now? Let them be. Concentrate on shows you do want around, don't be hateful. That's the President's job.
