Has anyone sat in row A for Next to Normal? I know some have said that farther back is better, but they were a gift, and I'm just so pumped to see the show. So, out of curiousity, how are the seats?

Men don't even belt.

I sat second row and a bit further would have been better to take it all in (looking up at 2nd and 3rd floor action), it's a great seat nonetheless. Enjoy!

Row A is the third row. The first two rows are AA and BB.

I sat in B (the fourth row) and saw everything perfectly.

I saw the show from front-row center. I didn't mind it too much. You won't be able to see anything that happens on the third tier, but the only thing that level is used for is for Gabe to observe what's going on. You also will not be able to see what happens upstage on the second tier... but, again, not much occurs on that part of that level.

On the other hand, you will extremely close to the action. You will not miss all of the wonderful subtle movements.

If you like the show and choose to return, definitely invest in a seat further back... rear mezz is 36.50, and the seats there are actually wonderful for the show.

I also sat front row center for the show, yes you will have to look up for the 2nd floor and directly up for the rare moments you need to look on the 3rd floor.

But the bonus is you get to see Alice Ripley's amazing performance up close, and that is worth any minor neck pain I had after the show.
