That's just a tour announcement. Where does it say that they've recouped?

Where do you see that it has recouped?? It's been running about 6 weeks.
Also there's already a thread started about the tour.
The idea is Disney doesn’t announce tours of their shows unless they’ve recouped. I’m thinking this isn’t what that is.
But to copy a poster from the other thread, I believe this is just Disney and co just getting ready for the big frozen 2 premiere.
Fake news. Corrupt media.

Yup. This is also them just following suit with literally every other show that opened this season and announcing a tour to appeal to the Tony road voters this week.

What are Tony road voters and why would announcing a tour appeal to them? Happy to be linked to an article. Had difficulty looking this up online. Thank you.

Mid-May (and especially this week) is usually when Tony voters who live out of town come to New York from their cities to see shows before they cast their final votes. This is a prime time for productions to appeal to these voters, and one way to do so is announce a national tour. The idea is that by announcing a tour, these shows encourage a vote from out-of-towners who'll have greater sway when they can say that "The Tony-winning production of XYZ is coming to my town," rather than casting a Tony vote for a show that won't end up coming their way.
Here's an article from last year that shows how important this out-of-town voting audience is for shows shooting for Tonys: https://nypost.com/2017/05/16/theater-producers-are-wooing-out-of-town-tony-voters-with-sweets/
