I saw this today and didn't love it as much. Lahti was great, but I felt she came off very cold and calculated, which actually works for the character, but I never felt her really let go and show us another side to her. I thought Dixon was the standout. He just has such an affable way to him, and it was endearing and interesting to see his journey. On the whole, though, I don't think the play is that great. It's very messy and scattered and it all kinds of adds up to a whole lot of nothing, for me. It was more like a "hm, interesting" then me being pulled in and invested. And I hated all the singing. Usually I love a musical, but this felt superfluous. The staging and design were nice. Great use of the space.
