Depending on the venue BWW does. What is the big deal? How's it any less worthy of getting recognition than a Equity tour?

non-equity tours are the new thing. theyre still very reputable and a huge coup for an actor. so what if the tour is non-eq; the bulk of gigs for a musical theatre performer; cruise ships, parks, and a ton of summer stock; are non-equity. if youre getting paied a good salary and doing what you love to do, congrats!

Going to see Caroline Bowman in Smokey Joe's at PA Center State on Tuesday! She is incredible and I wish the best to her!!!

There's the rub, many of these people on the non-Equity tours are NOT getting paid a good salary, especially considering in addition to the lower salary very rarely are the getting any sort of health or pension benefits.
