Hey y'all, I just saw an AMAZING production of Full Monty on Cape Cod. It is at the Cape Rep Theatre in Brewster. This production is tight. Have you guys heard of it?
Eric Riley who was the original Papa Ge in Once On this Island plays Horse and he is AMAZING. He was also in Dreamgirsl, ACL, Ain't Misbehavin ALL on BROADWAY he is a veteran!....pretty much everything. Chris Fuller from Pursuit of Persephone is Jerry, and he nails Jerry....but I must say Ethan Paulini as Malcolm STEALS the show. He is SOOOOO funny, such a physical comedian. And a voice to die for. He was in Kate Pazakis' show Sexless Years in NYC and has several National Tours under his belt. we are gonna be hearing a lot from him real soon tho.
Has anyone seen this? It was flawless. AMAZING!
It runs for a few more weeks, but I know it is completely sold out. They do have like a day off/rush/wait list policy. If you are ANYWHERE near this production....do whatever you have to to see it.
Has anyone else heard about or seen this?

Don't worry about it. Around here everytime someone posts an enthusiastic review, someone else calls them a "shill" which implies you are connected to the show. It's just something they like to do.
I've seen "The Full Monty" on Broadway twice and on tour many times as well as a few regional productions. I'm glad you liked it.

Posted: 8/13/06 at 7:43pmI saw a production of Full Monty at Theatre Three in Dallas this weekend. It was spectacular. It was such a fun musical with catchy music. I'd highly suggest trying to catch this production if you are in Dallas. I was very impressed with the clever/touching script.

lol about the guys playing Daisy and Violet. One of them is Kate Pazakis who sings at the Duplex on Sunday Nites and did The Sexless Years the other girl looks attractive.
So listen, tho I called today cause I want to see it again and it is completely sold out for the rest of the run. But they have a rush policy. 6-10 tickets are released every afternoon. Wait lists start 10 am when the Box Office opens for that evening's performance. They also added a Benefit this Sunday afternoon, but the tickets are like $100, I think.....anyone else wanna try and score some rush seats with me? anyone around? trust me it is worth the trip.

Posted: 8/14/06 at 11:05pmThey didn't actually go full monty, did they? After all the Naked Boys Singing had to wear bathing suits in Provincetown. The spirit of the Puritans never really went away on Ol' Cape Cod.

They went the FULL monty. they do a dance break in red g strings for a while, but the last let it go is a full reveal. the lights flash. Honestly, they kind of blind you and you sort of see a shadow of the area. If you could find a way to avoid the flas you would see the whole package.
a couple of them have nice bodies too, lol

My friend caught Monty at the Pocono Playhouse. She said she saw it 4 times, and it was the best thing she has ever seen there. I have my tickets already for the first Thursday night at the bucks county playhouse. She also said that they indeed go the full monty (although she said they also used blinding lights but you had a second for your eyes to adjust.) and there is a good amount of rear nudity also.
