Does anyone know if Fun Home is extending beyond October? I'm visiting over Christmas and would love to see the show.

It could. It technically wouldn't be an "extension" as the show is an open-ended run. They just only have tickets for sale until October. If early sales indicate it's making enough to stay open beyond October they'll release another block of tickets for sale.

I have no insider knowledge, but my perception is that it is likely not to extend or release a new block of tickets (the current run is open ended so technically the last day that tickets are on sale for isn't a closing date until they announce they will close that date, if they will close that date). Things have been slowing down in terms of grosses and attendance and I'd imagine that with such a special, intimate show they would want to quit while they're ahead and close while they're still afloat, rather than die a slow and dragged out death.

Honestly, I wouldn't consider an extension at this point to be tremendously likely. Grosses have not been looking that great lately.

The tour starts in October so I would venture a guess that will be a consideration in when it closes.

I don't see it making it to October. Sadly.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
