Mandy wasn't as bad as I expected... i think the pitch issues might have had something to do with sound quality (otherwise yes, she sucks).

Mandy DID have some major pitch problems. Usually I really like her singing but she does NOT sound good here...it sounds like she's struggling to hit the high notes.

Adam sounds nice though. :)

Wow...both VERY miscast.

Mandy Moore blows here, but I actually really liked her Adelaide's Lament which i think is from the same concert.

Yeah, at times it looked like Mandy was trying to find where she was (vocally and in pitch, almost as if she could not hear herself.) Look at that video again and see how many times it looks like she was putting her hand to her ear, or maybe it was just pushing her hair back.

Mandy is no Ellen Greene...but she is a decent pop singer. Out of all these new singers...i just think Mandy, Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera and Lindsay Lohan have good voices. Thanks for sharing the video Jacob!

I just have to state my take on this song from this show. Ellen Greene was so whispy and quiet as Audrey - We knew she had a great voice from the time she sang "Somewhere that's Green", But she had not belted anything yet. She was so easy to love in that role, Then, when "Suddenly Seymour" happened this BIG BELTING Voice comes out of Audrey that made you wanna have an orgasm right there.
It was "Magic". I have seen other "Audrey's" who have created their own "Magic' as well, sad to say it wasn't in the Broadway Production of this show in which I feel both leads were badly miscast. Mandy doesn't bring "Magic" in this clip, But Pascal does indeed, and with a great Audrey a Seymour has to be Phenominal just to hold his own in that song.

i am a bigger fan of will chase than of adam's so i really mean it when i say that adam is just too hot to play seymour! ahahah!! sorry...but thats how i feel. he has NOT ONE nerdy quality about him. other than that..he sounds great on this video. i am growing to appreciate him more and more. his voice is just really cool.
i have no comment on mandy.

Yeah, she is a little flat. The song is written to be belted and she doesn't belt at all. Bad choice for her vocally. Pascal is miscast as well.

Yeah, I remember seeing this on tv when it aired. Adam is edible as always (and that butt in those jeans!)...but Mandy sucked. What was she doing there, anyway??
