My mum wants to see something funny . I want to see something funny too. But a well written show. Nothing half arsed. Any shows that fit that bill.

I thought Something Rotten was hysterical.

Remember when comedies were the lifeblood of Broadway. I miss that time.

i would also consider Kinky Boots, which is very funny.

We no longer have a young Neil Simon who could turn out play after play like James Patterson turns out books like every month or so it seems.

That was a long convoluted way to saying you like it. You could have said that at the beginning and saved everyone a lot of time and trouble.

Fish In The Dark. Very funny with an actual story. Spillover audience, and would still be running if Larry stayed in it. I'd suggest you buy (order) the book and try to imagine the rest!

While not laugh out loud funny SHE LOVES ME has some very amusing moments and is beautifully written, with a gorgeous score to boot. It's the perfect musical comedy!

TACT is doing Widowers' Houses in a perfect production. That's funny and extremely well written.

I happened to think Fish in the Dark was among the worst plays I've seen on Broadway (and this comes from a huge fan of Larry David's comedy, Curb in particular). Anywho, as far as what's funny on the Broadway currently, I'd agree Something Rotten. The production had me in stitches and the cast is giving phenomenal comedic performances.

No intention or desire to see it. Nothing against it but not for us This is for the younger crowd and that ain't us. We saw Shuffle Along instead. Good luck though

I'll help you out here PThespian.

I am in my 60s and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Looking for an opportunity to see it again and recommend it. Saw it on a whim and very glad I did.
