GMF WINS the Lottery and reviews IN THE HEIGHTS !!!

Hey guys !
I was lucky to win the lottery for In The Heights tonight !!!! I'd ike to thank from the bottom of my heart my 3 wonderful BWW friends (you know who you are) who came to help me increase my chances! Luckily, my name was drawn, so we got the GREAT front row $26.50 tickets.
Now, about the show...WOW ! That's all I can say ! It was INCREDIBLE !!!!! I can seriously not find any fault ! The whole cast, the music, the energy, the choreography, the set, everything is a wonderful experience ! If you still haven't seen it, RUN, don't walk ! I want to reserve my 10s for the best of the best, but I gladly give In the Heights....10 OUT of 10 !!!!!

I totally forgot about helping out with lottery. But I'm glad you won anyway. And I'm even more delighted to hear you loved the show :)

I also really loved the show, it reminded me alot of my own neighborhood growing up with the store, pizza place and laundry mat all owned by neighbors who were practically family. There was only one song to me that didnt stand up to the rest of the show and that was "Enough" but other people seemed to love it.

It was wonderful meeting you ! I just read your post to John and he is sooo embarassed ( For those who, naturally, didn't get it, we were having lunch with Pal Joey and my friend accidentally put sugar on his fries, instead of salt LOL) And I really do return the compliment, you are more wonderful up close than on the board, if that's possible !
Yep, I'll definitely see GYPSY and I now added Spring Awakening in the mix !!! My Broadway addiction gets bigger now that I'm here ! If only I could forget Cry-Baby !!!

Awww. I think the things you have planned will wipe it from your memory. :) I'm glad you had such a great time! (And that you got your name drawn! That would have been sad if with 5 of us no one was called!!) Enjoy the rest of your trip! You're awesome! (Sorry I've been a little scatter-brained and hyper when we've met! I'm usually a little more low-key. But Emily on Monday along with Alice mail...and the concert on Friday...and my friend going... It's all a little hyperness-inducing!)

Great show! I bought a $20 ticket a while ago for the Rear Mezz, but was able to move to 5th row center in the front mezz for the entire show. A shame that the show isn't selling out on Sunday afternoons. The front mezz was rather empty. The rear mezz was pretty full, mostly with students.

P.S. Don't forget our lunch & show this Saturday!!! We cant wait to meet you...and yes.. Without A Trace, WBaF, Chris & more will be joining us.... I will pm you later this week regarding additional information...

jay, i'm looking forward to meet you all, too ! Well, Passing Strange doesn't appeal to me, from what I've seen ! I am sure it may be a GREAT show, and I am glad many people like it, but it's not one I'd squeeze in, especially with such a full schedule ! Maybe on my next trip, if it's still around !
