GODSPELL opening tonight?

If you check the news stories on BWW, there's an article stating that GODSPELL will be opening at the Ethel Barrymore theater on 10/23. That's tonight!

Guess the previews that started in September (according to the article) haven't been going well.

It looks like there is an updated article above the old Gospell that now says that SPEED THE PLAW will be opening at the Barrymore on the 23rd...... HMMMMMMMMMM

that's funny that production was post-poned a couple months ago. Due to producers backing out. But then recently I heard it was completly canceled.

The odd thing about the headlines today is that some are actual press releases, but if you click on some, there is nothing there. What is going on? Or is this just happening to me?

The same thing happened to me. I clicked on the link thinking that the show had been saved but there was no text in the new box.

Ha, Dollypop!

I got the Broadway Cares catalog in the mail last week, and they do the whole season stuff on glasses and towels and posters, and they all have the "Godspell" logo on them.

If your a regular reader of this board you would know it was canceled or postponed back in August because of financial jitters. It didn't have rehearsals , it didn't go to previews etc.

BALTO Yes, Diana Degarmo and the rest of the cast were very disappointed it got "postponed" It would have been a hell of a good show

I do hope funding starts soon there have been a number of shows"postponed"
