Casting has been announced for GOOD VIBRATIONS, the new musical featuring the songs of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys, which will come to Broadway this December. Directed and choreographed by John Carrafa (Tony Award nominee for Urinetown and Into the Woods), GOOD VIBRATIONS will begin preview performances on December 20, 2004 at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre (230 West 49th Street). The official opening date is January 27, 2005.
The cast of GOOD VIBRATIONS stars Tituss Burgess as Eddie (Jersey Boys at LaJolla Playhouse, La Cage aux Folles and The Civil War regionally), David Larsen as Bobby (West Side Story at North Shore Theatre, Caspar tour with Chita Rivera, TV’s “Boston Public�), Kate Reinders as Caroline (Gypsy and Into the Woods on Broadway, TV’s “Blind Justice�), Brandon Wardell as Dave (Assassins, Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Dead on Broadway) and Jessica-Snow Wilson as Marcella (Little Shop of Horrors, A Funny Thing…Forum and Les Misérables on Broadway).
The cast also includes: Tracee Beazer, Heath Calvert, Janet Dacal, Tom Deckman, Sarah Glendening, Milena Govich, Justin Guarini, Chad Kimball, Amanda Kloots, John Jeffrey Martin, Jesse Nager, David Reiser, Jackie Seiden, Allison Spratt, Carlos L. Encinias, Vasthy Mompoint, Steve Morgan and Krysta Rodriguez.

I have a question for someone out there who saw the show at Vassar. I saw it at Vassar but am away @ college & don't have my program. Could someone tell me who from the Vassar cast is going to Broadway (besides Guarini & Larsen)?? Thanks in advance.
(and yes, Guarini's role is relatively small for such a big name)

Of the two supporting roles, Tituss Burgess reprises 'EDDIE' while Brian Wardell is the new 'DAVE'.
Justin Guarini and David Reiser are still 'JAN' and 'DEAN'.
Milena Gorvich is now 'RHONDA' and Jessica-Snow Wilson is the new 'MARCELLA'.
Tom Deckman returns as the Class President as does Allison Spratt as the Dance Captain.
(Justin's role is a featured role with two solos Darlin' and Sloop JohnB. Perfect for a Broadway debut and as anyone who saw it at Vassar can tell you, no one can say it was 'stunt casting'.)

I'm very happy to see Allison Spratt coming to Broadway. I saw her as Sally in the tour of "Cabaret" and she was absolutely top-notch.
I went to school with Heath Calvert at Indiana University--he was Sweeney in "Sweeney Todd," the lucky bastard (as you can tell from my icon, I'm a ST fan). And now's he's coming to Broadway! So jealous...
