I've paid for a good share of horrible shows. I got in free for Good Vibrations. Yes, the show was terrible, but it didn't matter because I didn't pay. I took it for what it was....a bad high school musical that even the cast didn't like performing.

And I loved every minute. It falls into the "It was so bad, I loved it" category.

yes it should have come out this summer and just like jesry boys just told the story of the beach boys. and got a cast cd made of it.

I had a great time, definitly a lot of eye candy and nice songs.

It should be forgotten. It was a disgrace. It was dumb. It was pointless. I could go on and on and on. Good Vibrations would still bomb and still be crtically panned this or any summer because it was so poorly written.

And to my old pal Bryan (for the one hundreth time),
The Beach Boys Greatest Hits is and will forever be a far more enjoyable listen than a Good Vibrations cast album, even if God were to sing on it.

Did Good Vibrations actually tell the story of the Beach Boys? I was under the impression that it was just the songs, and had nothing else to do with the Beach Boys...

No. The show just told a predictable story about some doofuses and bimbos on the beach. The book to Good Vibrations is worse than Tarzan's book.
