That picture reminds me of that run down school bus I saw in the parking lot of my first Phish concert at The Medowlands Arena.
And to the original poster. I too LOVE Rent. I never have nor will I ever post about it constently or talk about it constently. Do I think it is the greatest musical ever written? No, I don't. Have I seen it more times the I care to actually admit? Yes I have. But, even when I saw it constetnly I never became one of those fanboys that people hate. As a matter of fact, even when I was seeing it constently it was the fanboys and fangilrs actions towards the show that made me wanna puke.

Posted: 9/1/08 at 11:51pmAwww Jess, don't let them get to ya. There are a lot of people so unhappy with their lives that they actually only get pleasure peeing on somebody's Playbill. RENT has been entertaining millions for ten years, but listen to the "experts" here, of course it's crap, it's no good. People here could only wish for a fraction of that success, Hell Sondheim's work of the last thirty years combined doesn't equal the success of "RENT". You'd think that "theater lovers", would be happy someone's life has been so touched by a show, but that would actually make sense.

We are not angry at her, per say, but more at the kind of fan she is. Many of us here, myself included, think ReNt is a great show. Artistic genius? No. But it is a lovely show that I have enjoyed tremendously countless times. As Winston said, we love it, but we do not preach it to the high heavens as many overzealous fans do.
Plus, if Jess had been reading the boards as much as she said she had been, she would have known how fed up we are from all of the pointless Renthead threads.
Take your rude, petty comments elsewhere amoni.

That made me chortle only because it's so true.

This is actually hilarious. A simple, cliche-laden RENT post has turned into all-out war.
I can't wait to see what Jess does next.

Posted: 9/2/08 at 11:03amDon't listen to these people. A lot of people on here seem to hate RENT for some reason, so they will bash you since you like RENT. Which is rude because this is a message board and if people don't like a show why do they bother to read the posts about the shows they don't like.
