GYPSY Rush Tomorrow...

I know the rush has been pretty crowded and sold out this entire week. But do you guys think many people will be lining up for it tomorrow? I am assuming more Broadway fans are going to try to catch the last performance of Hairspray, Liza, or even Young Frank and Grease.
If I get there about an hour or so before the box office opens tomorrow, do you think I'll have a good shot at the front row seats?
I know there's not a definite answer. But any opinions are appreciated. Thanks

My friend did it yesterday and got there about 9:30. She ended up in the front row, and even got an apple.
There were two shows that day, though, so that might have had something to do with it.

Posted: 1/4/09 at 12:45amI rushed today (Saturday) for the matinee at 11:30 and got row L. It's considered partial view, but I could see just about everything perfectly. I was the only one there, by the way...

Did anyone rush today/how was it?
I'm planning on going tomorrow morning to rush the matinee and wanted to see what I should expect. Also, what time does the box office open? I've not rushed Gypsy before.
Thank you so much in advance.

Posted: 1/6/09 at 2:03pmOn Sunday I got there at exactly 11 (they open at 12) and there was already a long line. I was disappointed I didn't get the front row, but I did get second row mezz seats to the side. They were pretty good. But I felt more connected with the show in the front row.

Posted: 1/6/09 at 2:04pmThe box office opens at 10 am tomorrow morning. The times I wanted to sit front row I got there around 9:15 and have always managed to get a seat in the front row. Otherwise, you can pretty much get tickets up to curtain, but they've been doing really well lately. However, now that kids are back in school, it shouldn't be too too bad. Good luck.

I'll be rushing tomorrow for the evening show.
Getting there real, real early. Got am excuse to get into work late, so not taking any chances on not catching the show.

I have a problem; when I see a show I love I see it several times rather than seeing something else.
So, I've seen this production three times. Twice from the front row and once from the box. The guy at the box office told me the box was "partial view," but those were the best seats! I could see everything beautifully, perfectly, and I didn't have a crick in my neck from those front row seats (and I love me some front row).

I got there around 8:40am (planned to arrive earlier but woke up to no heart or hot water in my apartment).
There were about 10 or so people in front of me, slowly some of them had other people join them in line totalling 14 people in front of me.
I miraculously got Row A Seats 2,4,6.
Loops will be walking past my left shoulder tonight.
omg.

Posted: 1/7/09 at 3:12pmI sat by the right boxes on Sunday. And the people towards the back of the box couldn't see a thing. They were stretching their necks and bodies the entire time. I felt bad. I got second row mezz all the way to the side on rush, I only missed a few things.

Didn't someone ask and post in another thread that they said there would be?

OK, so that makes me feel awful. I was sitting in the second row of the right box on Sunday along with my friend. In all fairness, I tried to move my seat so that I had a) a better view between the two people in front of me and b) a spot where the four people behind me could see around me.

Posted: 1/7/09 at 6:34pm^ I don't think it was your fault. It just seemed like so much of the stage was obstructed from the back of the box. I was disappointed at first I received side mezz seats, but I' glad I had that and not the back of the box.

I got there this morning around 9:30, thanks Greyhound for the half hour delay, haha. I ended up getting a partial view seat, row B seat 12, which I found to be phenomenal. The only things I missed were Louise and the alarm clock on her birthday and during the strip where Louise drops her dress and covers herself with the curtain.
Looking at the front row seats, I'm kind of glad I didn't get them because they seemed too close in relation to the stage height. I couldn't have been happier to see the show and catch every facial expression and emotion.
