Haven't seen this posted about yet. I had a very love hate relationship with this show. I was one of it's first fans impressed by the novelty and heart of the endeavor. Then I started losing faith in the project mid-season, but now the creator(s) are really seeming to gain focus and produce stellar episodes. This was my favorite in quite a while. Judging by the credits, I'm guessing this is in part due to the 5+ new writers who were signed on.

The guest stars on this episode served more than a "Look at us, we're doing this nice kid a favor by gracing the screen for 2 seconds" and were key to the success of this episode. Both John Gallagher Jr. and Tyler Maynard give excellent, supremely committed and ultimately hilarious performances. I also spotted the divine Deidre Goodwin as the choreographer for the show he's auditioning for. Great times! Worth a watch. Sad it's ending next month.
This is one of the better episodes of the season.

you're right. this is definitely a much better episode. I laughed out loud quite a few times and the writing was such an improvement from previous episodes. I also almost died when Tyler and his sexy backup dancers turned into devils. WTF?!! So random, but hilarious! Both Tyler & John were wonderful as expected. And jake sounded the best I've heard on his audition song. That or his voice is growing on me.
That was pretty boring.
What's up with those highlights?
It only got bad when he started pretending to be straight.
Hahahaha, I absolutely love Tyler Maynard. He was the best thing about "The Little Mermaid" (and I had absolutely no idea who he was when I went). Now I play his songs on my soundtrack everyday.
This is hilariously wack... or wackily hilarious...
i've only liked one episode out of this crap webseries.
Wonderful episode! I loved when John spit out his drink. lol.

I also liked the first few episodes of the show, especially the first one, and it started getting progressively worse. I was starting to wonder why I kept watching it, but this episode was really great. John Gallagher Jr. was hilarious. I loved Tyler Maynard's song, especially the line about getting typed out of Altar Boyz, since he was in the original cast. I hope Cheyenne comes back to do a reprise of "Roller Coaster Highway."
Not a fan of this series, but Tyler was fantastic. That number was great.
The funniest part was that the piano lid was closed when Tyler started playing! HAHA!

I agree, this was one of the better episodes, but I've loved something about all of the episodes so far.
I went to the party on Sunday night and Tyler and John were both there, along with a few other people from the episode. We never actually got the chance to watch the new episode at the party, but it was still lots of fun hanging out with everyone. To be honest, I had no idea who John was until I asked him if he did any acting. I felt slightly stupid when he said he was in Spring Awakening.

I never followed Spring Awakening, and still don't so my friends didn't judge me too hard, haha.
