Will she get to understudy Elphaba? She was the first Elphaba I saw and I loved her.
She's much better than the role of Nessarose deserves. She takes that woefully thankless role and actually makes her real.

Posted: 3/9/06 at 5:50pmThis is freakin' amazing! When I see the show April 5th, I'm literally going to be seeing the same 5 principle actors I saw in the San Francisco Tour! I'm so happy for them but it's just so hilarious! I wonder how much they've changed since August. This isn't news to me (people were whispering for months) but now that's it's official, it's sinking it! What a metamorphisis! WOW! WHAT FUN! Now I want to try really really hard to get lotto/cancellation tickets to Ben's last show (April 2)

When I met JLG, I asked that very quesiton...
No, she won't be understudying Elphaba. She said they were two different tracks, and that it wouldn't be possible, so her time as Elphaba on the tour would be her last.
And I said it was old news because most people know about one or the other and they both told me this very news a few weeks ago, as I said when I posted my review on the board. Sorry if I offended you.

I saw Jenna's last as Elphaba. I didn't even think I'd get to see her play the part. That's crazy.
