Whatever happened to him? I've only seen YouTube clips, but he was one of the best Phantoms I've ever heard.

I saw him in concert a year or two back, with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. He actually filled in for Hugh Panaro, who was supposed to do it and got stuck out of state. Haven't heard much of him since then, but I assume he's still doing concert work.

Was he doing the tour in 2009? If so, I saw him in Denver. If so, he was absolutely wonderful.

saw him as Raoul a few times, not my cup of tea vocally, can go 'overboard' some times, but to say that everyone in the role is worthy of being cast might be a stretch as I can think of a few that quite frankly were not vocally up to it (even up to recently) but for what ever reason were cast. Should we just say nothing and not call a spade a spade?
At the end of the day it is all subjective and if someone does not like what they saw then I think they are free to post their opinion as long as they are not themselves going overboard and being purposefully nasty.

^ This!
I wish they'd announce the plans for the 30th. A couple of months ago, Telecharge showed no performances on Friday, January 26; now they're showing not one, but two performances (a matinee and an evening)on that date, with no shows on the preceding Wednesday. I need to know at which performance the anniversary will be observed!
