Gentleman's Guide vacations

I'm seeing Gentleman's Guide next Wednesday matinee July 23. I know that Jefferson Mays will be out for a week in August, but how about Bryce, Lisa and Lauren? I believe that they were out a week ago. Thanks!

Jeff Kready is on as Monty (for Bryce) this week today - Friday, so I think the chance of him being in next week is pretty good.

I saw it again Sunday and Lisa and Lauren were out. When I got a ticket a few hours before, the box office staff said Lauren was on vocal rest but that Lisa would be in (and then she wasn't). So Lisa was on vacation? So pissed that they didn't say. Wouldn't they have known? Were they just lying?

You said it was a few hours before, if she was ill, she doesn't have to call out until 1/2 hour. Or she may have had an emergency.

The box office is often the last to know.

So, no, I doubt the box office deliberately lied to you.

I was there the 11th and both Lisa and Lauren were out. I believe, as others have said, Lisa was on vacation as she was also out Tuesday the 8th - I know someone who went that night. I saw Lauren & Lisa back in May and while they were absolutely incredible, their understudies were equally amazing and I was very impressed by their performances.

So, I think it's safe to say, unless Lisa gets sick or has an emergency, you will be seeing her as Sibella.

I went to last Saturday's matinee. Lisa was out. The role of Sibella was played by Pamela Bob. Phoebe D'Ysquith was played by Catherine Walker and Miss Barley was played by Amy Justman. My heart initially sank. But all rose to the occasion, and I was very happy with the performances. Terrific show, a lot of fun.

I wasn't there but Bryce, Lisa, and Lauren were out for the matinee today (Bryce is on vacation, Lauren on vocal rest, not sure about Lisa).
