George Salazar as Evan Hansen?

Just watched the video of him singing "Michael in the Bathroom" and it got me thinking about how he could actually be a really great Evan Hansen. Thoughts?

I totally I agree, I've been saying that for months! However, I do think he's too old for the role.

Dear God NO!!!  If his "acting" in TICK TICK BOOM had been any more wooden, he'd have been a part of the set!

He could in no way convincingly play a high schooler in a show like DEH.

I saw him several times in Spring Awakening (albeit many years ago), and his singing voice was gorgeous. However, he was much younger back then and barely believable as a teenager even at that point. I don't think he'd be believable as Evan in any way even if he could pull off the acting side of it.

I had heard little mentions of Be More Chill on this board, clicked on that video, and... I'm in love. What is this musical!? How did I miss this?! Why is it not playing in NY?

He simply doesn't have the range to sing the score. There's no way.
