Ok, so I got tickets for Wicked on february 8th, row L of the orchestra, I think left side (seats 12-1
. I know the Gershwin is pretty big, but how far away are those seats?
Thanks.

As a rule, figure 3 feet per row. Row L would seem to be the 12th row, so about 36 feet from the stage or orchestra pit.
Actually the first 4 rows of the Gershwin are BB, CC, DD, and EE, so L would be 16th row. You can do the math.
haha that's a cool trick Jon.
So about 50 feet from the stage.

My friend and I sat in Row N, left of center before and we had a perfect view.

if the real concern is (will i be able to see anything?) the answer is yes. i sat down there one of the times i saw it and i could see everyones facial expressions, everything.
That seems like a good seat. The problem with the Gershwin isn't ever site, it is sound. The acoustics are horrrible in that theater.
you should be fine.
