Original Cast Recording released on June 8th. Pre-order form 24th April. A great show that I liked in New York. The basic recording from last year was great but this new full on recording should capture the show brilliantly and give everyone a taste of what they'll see at the NT this winter.
"Are you tempted to see this at the National when it comes over?"
Not even remotely LOL. I've watched clips on youtube and listened to some audio clips and the music sounded so horrible it actually made me want to scream. I'm sure it is a genuinely innovative piece of theatre and the book may well be strong but the bottom line is if the score is the kind of music I really hate, I could not sit through 2 and a half hours of it.

Row B!? ooh good times :) i've not really had an interest in this show and haven't looked up any clips or anything, hell i don't even know who Fela is...(he is a person right?) But i'm just gonna go with an open mind, knowing nothing about it, which is very rare these days, for me at least
I still find this an unusual choice for the National. Considering the last Broadway import they had was 'August: Osage County' (that correct?), it's a strange one to follow up. Still, wish it all the best and I hope it finds an audience in London!
I saw this show just after it opened in New York. As enjoyable as it was I am still completely dumbfounded as to why its been picked up by the National, totally.
