I'm coming over soon for a week of theatre and want to go to the papermill and see Ever After. What's the best way to get there from Times Square?
Thanks guys

Have you done a search? I know this has been discussed before.

NJ Transit train from Penn Station to Millburn, and its about 40 minutes. There are directions posted at the station for the short walk there.
But it is best to go to matinee since the trains late at night are not numerous. At least in daylight, you can read while you wait.

The NY Transit train is REALLY easy to take from Penn Station. And it's cheap... $16 round trip. I have used the train for night shows... leave Penn around 4pm and have dinner before the show in Millburn and then see the show. The night train comes within 30 minutes of the show getting out.

I have to say I'm baffled by this website. What am I supposed to put in for an origin station? Do you have to purchase tickets ahead of time or can you buy them at the station? Where (very specifically) do you go when you're at Penn Station?

Origin station: NY Penn Station
Destination: Millburn
Yes you can pay for train tickets at one of the blue and orange ticket machine things. Enter Penn Station from 33rd and 7th. Go down the steps, walk a little, and on your left, you will see the doors with different track numbers. Buy your tickets and then wait for them to announce what track your train is at. Im not sure if you need to transfer trains though to get to Millburn. You probably will have to transfer at Newark but I'm not exactly sure.

I've done it a few times. Usually you can get a 6pm train out of Penn Station and it will get you into Millburn with enough time to walk over. It's not a long walk to the theatre. And the train after the show are usually with in the half hour time frame. It's enough time for the actors/musicians to get out. It's an easy trip. Enjoy the show!
