Also, on Stubhub there are some relatively cheap tickets (Only around a little over 100$) for the balcony of the last matinee and the last show. I snagged one myself and am so excited!

Dollypop; Is it time to start solidifying these plans? My thoughts are still that it should be a quick greet and meet. But if we are getting a bite.. how about Jon's Pizza right next to the St James Theater?

Are you going to hit 100 on Broadway or on tour?

The show's last performance will be my 94th. Then starts the tour....
I'm thrilled to learn that the tour will be in Boston this time, so I can once again celebrate my birthday with DOLLY!
Regarding our closing night meet-up: why don't we meet at a designated spot and then decide where we're going? John's Pizza is fine with me.
What would be a good time?

Hello. I just wanted to jump in! I first saw Dolly on 12/7/64 with my parents, sitting in the second balcony Row A Center of the St. James Theater. As a teenager, I saw Pearl Bailey, and actually snuck in to her last performance in December 1969. I was sitting front for center on December 27, 1970 when Ethel Merman closed the show, and I was thrilled to hear myself cheering on the recently discovered recording made that day. Hello Dolly! made me fall in love with the theater, and it has been my lifelong passion.
I finally counted up my visits during this run, and counting next weekend, I will have seen Bette 12 times, Bernadette 5 and Donna 2. There is a feeling that comes over me when the overture starts is something that will never go away. I have since added La Cage, The Producers and Hamilton to my top 4, but Dolly is where it all began.
I will be there for both of the final two shows, and I would love to meet everyone!

I was just wondering if either Jerry Herman or Carol Channing might be there next Saturday? I know they are in failing health.
Also, do you think that Donna or Bernadette will be there? Probably not.
I'm sure that there will be extra fun during the hat shop and dinner scenes!
Can't wait. It's going to be an incredible and memorable night.
When Pearl Bailey closed Dolly in 1969, they made her walk up the Harmonia Gardens staircase for a full encore of the title song. She joked that she was too tired to go up the stairs, but she made it. How can we get that to happen on Saturday?

I was also thinking how wonderful it would be to have Jerry or Carol there for the closing show. But I know that is not going to happen due to their health. I do wonder what 'big names' will be there next Saturday night. Perhaps Beanie and/or Jennifer Simard will be there?
And I can only imagine how over-the-top those aforementioned scenes will be... and what Bette will ad-lib during the dance break in the title number (How about "Don't tell the producers - but I'm keeping this dress!"![]()

I assume you’ve seen all three Dolly’s for this run?

Excited for all of you attending the final performance. I loved the footage of Bette's return. Looking forward to more. I had the pleasure of seeing Bette, Bernadette and Carol on many occasions. Sad this production must end.
