Will do!
I wish I was going to the final show, this sounds like so much fun and I’ve always wanted to meet you, Dollypop. I realized you were at the same performance as Dolly at least once after the fact.
I will be there the week before closing with a friend who hasn’t seen a Broadway show in many, many years.
Then the tour will be teching here in September for two shows, so I’ll obviously be seeing both of them.

Aww, boo! I’m going to the 8/15 matinee. Would have loved to otherwise.

8/15 is the one time I don't wear my now-famous red shirt to DOLLY! It's my birthday and I wear the shirt that sums up the state of my body these days: "It's a little lumpy but it rings!"
I would love to meet you! I’ll be in row G of the mezz!
Also, anyone else that is going to be therrent, obviously! :)

I'll make sure to meet you.
BTW: I'll also be at the evening performance on 8/15.

I'm so excited! And looks like you'll hit your 100 after all? :)

I don't think so. I had a health scare that slowed me down for a while. I'll come tclose to 100, though.

Do you only count performances on Broadway or do you count tours as well?

Yes, I count Touring Companies but not dinner theater or community theater productions. Why? Check out the Sally Struthers video on YouTube.

So you weren’t able to see the god awful Sally Struthers tour a few years back? :P

No. Thank God!
Am really glad right now. A friend of mine who is recovering from breast cancer feels that she's up to joining me on 8/19. If anyone needs the "DOLLY Glow", it's this woman!

Aww, will miss you by a few days. My last Dolly for this production will be the 8/11 matinee.
Dollypop, could you make it to 100 with the Betty Buckley tour that starts in a few weeks?

I knew you were planning on seeing Betty Buckley as well and I thought you had said you wouldn't make your 100. I wasn't sure of you meant just Broadway or all.

The Buckley tour will be in Boston for my birthday next summer, so I'll be there for a couple of performances.
I'm trying to get my favorite congressman to join me when it plays in Washington.

??
Dollypop I am in awe of your devotion to all things Dolly and your contributions here, but....and by God I don't wish to offend.....I am confused about your gender.
Do I remember you saying you played Dolly somewhere?
Obviously the character means something to you emotionally and you might have shared that on here at some time but I didn't see it.
How do theatre staff/cast react to you in the audience so often, and those sitting around you as your joy and delight must be contagious?
I love that you are able to commit so much energy to 'your' show and even able to rally so many fans of both you and the show before the final performance.
If my questions are too personal, I apologise. 'We' hide behind our avatars and could pretend to be anyone we make up[I am a 73yo male] but I have been watching your get-together grow in numbers so was just curious.
I hope you all have the most splendiferous time together,
Respectfully...SweetLips22..x

I wrote a length response to this but it disappeared just as I hit the "post" tab. Will try again when I have time.
