From what I've seen, the over 17 set have since stopped watching the show mid-Season 2. Everyone seems to have gotten bored with the repetitive concept except the kiddies, who still LOVE this TV series probably moreso than when it first premiered.
I could easily see this as a regional/community theater staple ala the stage adaptation of Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. Just NOT a long-running Broadway production.

Posted: 7/30/11 at 7:51pmCan we talk about how it used to (initially) be a show about a glee club who just sang songs a cappella and were real people and now the episodes are actually mini-musicals, complete with music video style singing-in-the-hallway-but-the-person-you're-singing-to-can't-hear-you sequences?
