Has anyone gotten standing room tickets for Glengarry Glen Ross? If so, how long did wait in line? Any suggestions? Thanks!

anyone have a recent update on the SRO line for glengarry? how's the view from the SRO location? how far in advance do you rec getting in line?

I'm in line right now. I got here at 3:45 and was first in line. It's 5:45 now and there are about 10 of us in line. People didnt really start lining up until about 4:30. The guy at the box office says it dramatically varies from day to day.

Here's an update from Tuesday, January 15, in case anyone wants to try for the final week of performances. To start here is an important heads-up which is NOT clearly stated in the official rush policy: they give out only 15 standing room tickets. Considering any one individual can purchase 2 tickets, those 15 can go extremely quickly.

In any case, today I arrived at the box office at 3:15 for a 5:00 selling time, and there were three people in front of me, accounting for a total of 5 tickets. At around 4:00 or 4:15, the 15 tickets had been accounted for in line, and within the final 20 minutes before 5:00, the line tripled in size. Although some patrons alerted the late-comers that there would be no tickets left, they all decided to stay and see what would happen.

I'm going to attempt to get SRO for this Saturday's 8pm show. Given it's closing weekend... what are we thinking will be a safe time? 2pm?
