They're reducing the orchestra because they can't afford it? Sigh.

No surprise there - 50 pieces? Who really thought that would happen? I bet they cut it down to 25 eventually.
LCT can cut a deal with the union perhaps, for prestige R&H shows, but not a commercial producer for Lloyd Webber synth schlock.

Just keeping you aware. Wouldn't want you to miss out, I love you too much.
Tickets available for 7 shows per week, dark on Mon & Tues
Do we think "alternate to be named later" like Hello, Dolly for Tues nights?
A spokesman said Close is scheduled to do all 7 shows a week.
I'll wait for discount codes to show up.

While the prices are insane, I couldn't be happier this is coming back...
Just bought mine for Feb 4... while I'm doubtful about Glenn's singing and the lack of set, this is one of my favorite ALW's of all time, so, definitely need to see it (and will try to get in for whoever the understudy is)
I'm definitely excited for this, but I kind of wish we could have gotten someone besides Glenn Close to play Norma. There are so many talented women out there that have no played the role yet, and I would love to see one of them take on the role. Still thrilled this is happening, though!
