Is it worth it...it is one of my favorite scores and I hear that this production is like any other down. I hear the costumes and sets are very opera-like.

Not sure I'd call them "opera-like". I'd go with some other names however...

Totally agree. The 'look' of this production is a refreshing twist to the traditional 'look' of the show.
