Who's bashing it? The only bashing I see is by the one poster, who has already seen the show.

Does anyone else keep forgetting that this has been announced officially, let alone exits at all???

With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-

gymdudeva- seems like your on a real vendetta against this show. To each there own.

I personally loved it and thought it was extremely moving. The writing was so layered but never felt too smart. Watching those four guys struggle to share their emotions the entire show and then explode with emotion was heartbreaking. *spoiler* At the end of the show there was a moment of silence as everything they thought they knew about the world fell apart and the one boy looked at the other and said "I love you." These boys spent the entire evening hiding and suppressing their feelings and it this last moment expressed their love to each other. Too little too late. I burst into tears.

Not Barker, Todd- what are you trying to say in your post. It makes no sense. I think selling tickets makes it pretty official.

I think Not Barker, Todd was making light of the fact that no other website except broadway.com has made any sort of mention of this production coming to Broadway. No press release has been issues yet, just a page on broadway.com and a mention in their stage blog.

Yes and No. I'm just saying it was only rumor for a while (on StageNotes) and then it was barely announced as official. As such, I keep forgetting that's it's no longer just a rumor, even if I'm lucky enough to remember the show exists!

I agree with Not Barker, Todd. This has not been reported anywhere but Broadway.com. Wouldn't there have been a press release sent out? Also, why is Broadway.com, but not Telecharge, selling tickets? How are they rehearsing this, if two members of the cast (including the guy who wrote it) are in other shows?

This all seems very strange.

Are transfers usually done this fast? It just closed at Signature a few weeks ago, and as just mentioned, half the cast are currently in other shows.

Not bashing, but I must say that even my friends here in DC who liked it don't think it's really ready for Broadway. They obviously don't have time to re-work it much, so I assume it will be pretty much the same show. It seemed to me (MY OWN OPINION) like an unfinished but promising *workshop* production by some inexperienced yet talented young writers. Sorry, but I was baffled to see this on the main stage of a firt-rate regional theatre like Signature, so I am really confused by this Broadway transfer. I'm all for new shows and young writers coming to Broadway, but hopefully there are other criteria involved (esp. for $110 a pop). Maybe I just totally missed the boat on this one and it will be a hit.

Why is this still not listed on playbill.com?

Because it's suspicious.

Because there still has not been any sort of official announcement, or press release, saying it's transferring.
