It looks like God Of Carnage has extended again.
Telecharge is now selling tickets until June 20th 2010.
Wasn't it supposed to close in February?
I don't remember seeing a playbill announcement that the show was extending till June.

I think they just extended the ticketing period to see if it would fare another extension of the run...BIRDIE and BURN THE FLOOR did that, but since no tickets were selling, they reverted back to their original closing dates....

They recouped already so making it an open-ended run, doesn't seem like a sstupid idea to me.I think that maybe more stunt casting is needed for this show to stay way above the nut, but the nut still must not be all that high because there is a small cast (with no big names like the original), no band(duh, it's a play), and it's not an enormous theatre. I think this will have a long and healthy run.
*Ljay, I was thinking the same thing when I first read the posts.

Posted: 12/28/09 at 7:46pmI'm just bummed since I thought I had the best seats for the final show...I was soo believing they wouldn't extend since the attendance dropped 40% (ouch!) from the week of the orginal cast's final show to the new cast's first one...and it hasn't been the same since
