There are videos online of what celebrities-as-audience-members have had to do.
Kathie Lee did charades.
Hoda did pictionary.
They also have an audience member portray Lazarus in a scene, like Eric McCormack did once.

The lottery winners get the "cushion" seats, right at the stage's apron. It is from there that the on-stage participants are chosen.
My 7 yr old granddaughter did the Pictionary segment.
