Nobody's perfect at predicting everything. And just because someone didn't foresee the winners in 24 out of 24 categories, doesn't mean they don't have expertise. Before May 2, GoldDerby.com held a contest for predicting all the Tony nominations to be announced (minus the design categories). More than 700 people worldwide entered, and David Buchanan had THE top No. 1 score, correctly predicting 89.8% of the nominees. Sam Eckmann, his fellow contributor at GoldDerby, was not far behind. I would argue that their track record in this and previous seasons is proof that they are not just ''anyone else'' making predictions.
