"I am a versataile actress.... s'long as you stay on the mattress!"
LMAO

I saw Bea Arthur: Just Between Friends.
She was amazing; not very nice at the stage door though (I'll give her the benefit of the doubt since it was raining, but she didn't even smile or say thank you to her fans).
I also saw Rue McLanahan in "The Women." That was one of the best plays I've ever seen. I didn't do the stage door thing there, but I probably should have.

Oh my gawd. I absolutely <3heart<3 The Women!!!! That was SUCH an incredible production -- I wish I had been able to see it more than once. But I have the video from when it was aired on PBS and I can't tell you how many times I have watched it!

First episode:
Blanche got engaged to that one guy with the kids.
She told him that when he fixes up his relationship with his kids, to give her a call.
HE NEVER DID DAMMIT!
I am so mad because I missed it when it aired on PBS. I knew ahead of time that it would be on, and I totally forgot to watch it! Hopefully it will be released on DVD at some point.
I also wished I could have seen it more than once, but it was such a limited run. I feel privelaged to have seen it at all.
Damn! I SO want to hear Chita Rita. I was downloading I a while ago, but it wouldn't download past a certian point, so I deleted it, and now I can't find it again. *sulk*
I have Chita/Rita downloaded. The first time I listened to it, I wet my pants (Seriously! I split my glass of water on myself because when I laughed I shook the desk!) I had tears streaming down my eyes, because I love Chita, and this song is soooooo darn clever.
"I can play any roll I choose!"
"Gypsies, Italians, and Black Jews!"
Do you think that they'll finally change the line "I'll be doing the movie version of The Rink. I'll probably win another Oscar." to "I'll be doing the movie version of Nine....." LOL

I was watching Intimate Portaits on Lifetime on Estelle Getty, and surprising she is a big supporter of homosexuals. Who would imagine Ma being a regular Debbie from Queer As Folk? lol!
