Bernadette may be a great "Dame", but "Golden", I think not. Have you seen her recently--I have--she has the sparkle and the strut back! And she positively crackles with that sweet sex appeal...
My point is: this has NOTHING AT ALL to do with chronological age. And any Fanadette knows this.

It's funny that out of the four Golden Girls, Betty White was the only one never to appear on Broadway. Bea did nine Broadway shows(according to ibdb.com). Rue was last seen in Wicked & The Women plus did four others before Golden Girls. Estelle Getty was in the original cast of Torch Song Trilogy and did a ton of off-Broadway shows as well.
Interesting to all those Golden Girls fans.
