Sorry to see it go. At least the national tour is continuing.

It's not gone yet! Don't make the end come sooner!
But yes, I'm glad the National Tour is continuing as well--saw it last year and talked to some of the leads at stage door. Fabulous dancers and great people as well
I can't wait, it just came to Toronto (Canada) and i am going to see it on December 23.YAY!

I'm really disappointed that I never got to see it in NYC. Luckily, it's coming to Baltimore in March and I have tickets for then.
Oh Movin' Out. I will miss it so much. I saw it again for my last time last Wednesday and its still as amazing as ever. Im so sad to see it go.

Movin' Out is movin' out? How have I not heard about this? Goodbye, dancer who contorts with his crotch in his own face! (And thank you, Gerard Alessandrini.)

Im glad to see a few people care about this show.
Im going to have to wait until May before it comes around here again. Hopefully Holly Cruikshank is still the lead.( God I love her :)).
Well, at least I get to see Billy Joel in January.

I have tickets Saturday matinee. Assuming, that is, that with the snow I can get there...
I saw the show last night for the first time. It was amazing. John Selya and Ashley Tuttle were out but Cody Green and Mable Modrono were incredible. Elizabeth Parkinson and Keith Roberts were stunning. I don't think that Elizabeth Parkinson is of the world. I could watch her dance forever.
I wish I could see it again before Sunday but that just isn't possible.

So loved this show.
if it's billy joel, than every song has a whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh part in it.

Well that's true, but if I remember correctly it was Scenes from an Italian Restaurant that was used in the commercials.

I absolutely adore that guy. What a sweetheart -- and so, so talented, too.
I wish I could've seen the show again.

goodbye, Movin Out! i loved this show!!
too bad this isnt a show that can be performed by schools/regional groups. maybe dance halls (if they go along with the CD) but its sad it wont live on in schools and regionally.
It's comming to Baltimore, but I really have no desire to see it. I love Billy Joel, I just don't like dancing.
I really enjoyed Movin' Out when I saw it a couple of years ago, and I'm sad to see it go. I'm not a big fan of the "jukebox musical" concept in general, but this just really worked - it was amazing to me how the movements of the dancers and the music were enough to tell the story without any additional dialogue.
I LOVE YOU MOVIN' OUT!!!
i read that article about michael...hes moving back to vegas....awww...im so sad...i love him..

*sniffle* Currently listening to the cast recording for this show, to commemorate its closing, which I've done for ASU and LW their respective closing days, mostly because I can't get to NYC to see the final show.
Such a wonderful, heartfelt show, that when I saw it last year on tour was an incredible experience for me--when I got home I started dancing around the room, because of the fabulous choreography I had just seen on stage! And I agree with you, bostonbroadwayfan, I talked to Holly Cruikshank at stage door, and she was very sweet! <3
