Regarding Cristian (ahem)...I don't think his injury kept him IN the competition. I think it kept him from getting even better. He improved tremendously over time. Seriously, I couldn't stand him in the beginning, but he won me over. And not just 'cause he's pretty. 
(Oh, an my 12-year-old daughter has a crush on him, too!)
