I'm auditioning for a community production of My Fair Lady in a couple of weeks. what would be a good song for me to sing?

Audition songs should be "standards" in your own repertoire...and you should have several. It's never a great idea to try to learn a new one from scratch just a few weeks before the audition.

You're trying to show off YOUR skill, YOUR talent, and YOUR ability....which is better shown in something you've really worked on, and prepared, not just picked up on a whim.....as a musical director, I can always tell when people "just got the song this week" - and I don't usually cast them....because they don't present themselves at their best by using a new song.

That said, any thing from Lerner and Loewe would be my suggestion, so:

Women:

Brigadoon (Fiona or Meg, depending on what your skills are)
Camelot (Guenevere)

Men:

Camelot (Arthur) (best choice)
Brigadoon (Tommy)

Lol sorry I didn't put better info. I'm a male and I have a bass voice, but I've been trying to improve my tenor lately and it's okay I suppose, but I could really use more practice for it.

Are you auditioning for a specific role - Higgins, Doolittle, Pickering, Freddy, Jamie, Harry, ensemble, etc...

I'd go with "Drop It Like Its Hot", but sung cockney like, "DRAWP ETT LAWK EETS HAWT"

Sing a standard broadway song that you know you sing well, and that you enjoy singing. That way you'll be confident in what you are doing, and have fun.
