I think Ian might be one of my favorite characters in any musical comedy.
Everything about this show just plain rocked.
WHO'S YOUR GHANDI? WHO'S YOUR GHANDI?
Agreed. Ian was definitely a riot.

I loved this show! It was hilarious. Will Chase and the rest of the cast were amazing.
Saw it on saturday matinee ... i am with some of you. It may not be the best but its sooo much better than a lot of flops cant believe it only lasted this long
I can't wait to hear how the show was tonight.

It could just be that the producers are smarter than those of other flops. Producers of In My Life, Lennon, etc. thought that maybe sales would pick up after a while, so they kept pouring money into it. Seller and McCollum probably realize that with buzz as bad as it is, it's better to close it now than keep wasting money on keeping it open.
Just an idea on why it closed so early.

Was it really doing that poorly? When I went the audience was very full. How was it on other nights?
When I went it wasn't full, but there were a lot of people there.

It was nearly full on Friday as well, but I'm guessing a lot of those tickets were sold at a reduced price. Lots of reduced price tickets = not going to keep a show open.

Show was great tonight. My 4th time seeing it.
High energy on stage, great crowd reactions, lots of cheering and applause.
No speech at the end, all the understudies were on stage in the final scene at the record shop, which was nice to see.
Sorry to see High Fidelity go! Wishing the cast the best of luck!
That's great! Glad you got to go. Too bad there was no speech though.
I really wanted to see this show and am upset that i didn't get the chance. Hope theres a tour, but doubt it. I'll be sure to get the CD though! Was the show completley sold out tonight at least?

Saw the show two weeks ago. Thought it was great. So sad to see it go
To think it got consistent standing ovations.
I saw it tonight and it was just electrifying. I enjoyed it through and through and am pissed off that it had such a short run, OH and I'm also pissed that they ran out of t-shirts...
I was there tonight. Bob Martin and the director were in the audience. Show was sold out - barely. It was still on TKTS 30 minutes prior to show.
No curtain call speech. Audience wasn't overly energetic but gave entrance applause to everyone. Show was never "stopped." Kind of a dull closing night, compared to other closing nights I have read about.
I'll review the show tomorrow. It was the first time I had seen it. I will say this: it closed too soon.
Actually, there were a ton of empty seats in the mezz, it wasn't close to sold out.
Saw lots of theater people there, from Drowsy, Hairspray, and Les Miz.
The closing show was kind of disappointing.
I waited for closing speeches and there were none. Sadness, but I will miss the show. Glad there is a recording though.
Makes me sad, I wish you guys had a better chance! I know you are oh so talented... It is not any of your faults!!!!!! Keep going we need you!
Really? Every seat in the orchestra was sold out. I was in the second to last row.
Yeah, I was across the aisle from Bob Martin. The orch was packed and very energetic.

i was there opening night. Sat across the aisle from John Lloyd Young and behind Alec Baldwin. GREAT opening. GREAT show. Will be missed.

Why would there be a speech? It's not like they played for a year and had so many people to thank.
