Does anyone know how the show did financially?
Did it recoup?

The show did not recoup.

There was a thread about Cinderella's recoupment fairly recently. I think the conclusion was that the NY production would not fully recoup, but would come pretty close, with full recoupment likely over time due to tour and licensing fees.

Thanks, RaisedOnMusicals, it's good to know. It's a wonderful show & I'm glad to know the producers did (at least) OK.

It appears highly likely that when the final books are closed in a few weeks, the show will have recouped on Broadway. And of course it will return considerable profit on the road.
