Great Comet is closing September 3, and I'm hoping to rush for the final show, a 3pm matinee, and this being the first time I've tried to rush a closing show, I have some questions. Will they even have a rush for the final show? How good will the tickets be, if it is still happening (I know they've been reserving one pair of onstage seats for rush, will these still be available)? What time should I be at the box office? It opens at 12 and I want to be first in line. Any and all information is appreciated!

I asked ticket office last night if they had any stage seats for Sept 3 and she said no. For all their crying about $, I would've thought they'd get premium for stage and family/friends of cast taking those seats.  I guess there is always a cancel.

^ Last year I went to the closing night performance of the Les Miz revival and bought a fifth row center orchestra seat a half hour before curtain (I already had a rear mezz seat, which a friend was more than willing to take from me). I'd just keep checking every day for the next few weeks. I know last night around 3:00am EST there was a Row H orchestra seat for sale for about a half hour. More are likely to pop up.

I agree that they come up.  I got row F at 5pm after the matinee finished, and there was a long line of folks buying.  My friend got 4th row orchestra on Groban's last day and he bought it 30 mins before.

They do get a premium. As stage seats (tables and banquettes) have appeared over the last few days, they've sold quickly. I presume they are saving some for creatives, produces etc., but they've sold many at good prices.
