Seussical had some enjoyable songs.
I really enjoyed High Fidelity, but I don't know if that's a GREAT score. Same with The Wedding Singer.

Posted: 12/1/10 at 7:59pmI forget that Merrily We Roll Along was a flop sometimes. "Franklin Sheppard Inc." is one of my favorite Sondheim tunes. LOVE that score.

Brilliant, all of them. The whole show is so very, very close to being wonderful, but it just misses the mark. Giraudoux isnt easy to adapt by any stretch, but they got oh so very close. Herman keeps saying he wants to give it another shot, and I wish he would.

Posted: 12/1/10 at 8:39pmI say this with great sadness, but Scottsboro Boys will go down as a great score in a show that was undone by public apathy. I place it right up there with Cabaret and Chicago and hope and pray future generations will have access to it.
