Did the user agreement say we can't make fun of it?
It's just a message board. Let's not take it too seriously.

At least this board lets us share discount codes. I got kicked off the "other" board just for subtly hinting about the VISA code for Legally Blonde while it was in previews.

Wow. I am so upset even though I've known for three days.
Well, looks my decision to buy SA tickets the same night will pay off.
But alas, FILM THIS!

I never usually post in these threads, but this is special. What a wonderful musical, I'm just glad I got to see it before it left.

Yes. To my knowledge, they have been filming pretty consistently over the past year tracing its journey from the initially readings to off and on broadway.

You know, I feel about this show's closing the same way I felt about Sweeney Todd's closing last year. Yes, it is incredibly sad that a great piece of art is closing, while less artistic shows are staying open, but at the same time this was such a beautiful ensemble, that I'm glad it is closing with the original cast. I think this was a very smart decision on the producers part, considering the show was almost gaurenteed to close when Ebersole's contract was up in October, and they would have had to recast at least one role for only 3 months or so.

In answer to your question about a third documentary, it was announced that he will make a documentary about the musical and its travels and life on broadway. I really don't know why they closed it so abruptly. I always thought that Christine Ebersole was the main attraction. I really liked this show and thought both actresses were superb but it was really Christine Ebersole that carried the show. Mary Louise Wilson doesn't appear until Act 2 and then spends most of it in bed.

In one sense, it's a very smart decision because this is one of those shows with performances so indelible by Christine and Mary Louise that you can't picture anyone else in them.
Unfortunately, it also robs a lot of people the opportunity to see it. I'm not as huge of a fan as the show as some others (amazing second act, but less-than-amazing first), but I was so moved by the second half that I'll miss it too.
Just grateful I got to see "Company" again before it left; won't be so lucky with this one.

I want to get tickets next Thursday-Saturday for this one, btu there doesn't seem to be a discount code on broadwaybox.com as of now. Should I just bite the bullet and pay full price or is there a chance they would post a discount code in the next couple days for next week's shows? Thanks.
