Why "Nathan," I wonder. Actually, this makes me wonder a lot of things but that's the first.

He wants to make a jukebox musical about an alcoholic called Nathan with that song in it, lol. {According to the description}

Putting your own spin on something just means you know you're gonna f-ck it up.

I know you. I know you. I know you.

Wow! I had no idea this was posted here! I'm the guy who made this! It was really just a demo for a movie project I'm working on where we're planning on using this song for the big finale. It's not a full blown musical or anything, but there will be a few musical numbers.

It's a dark modern re-telling of Snow White about a faded child star (Nathan) who begins having murderous thoughts about his own daughter, who has just become a huge star in her own right.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it!

Doesn't sound like anyone did enjoy it.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Sorry if anyone doesn't get it, but there's certainly no need to be bitchy. If you don't like it, fine, but don't tear it apart without any constructive criticism. What did you like or not like about it? This is really only a demo/rehearsal. There's still time to fix things.

"Sorry if anyone doesn't get it, but there's certainly no need to be bitchy."

Welcome to Broadwayworld.

You posted the video on the internet. You didn't think people were going to comment on it?

I have no problem with comments, just make them constructive. "He sucks" or "I don't like this at all" are comments that have no point. Something like "Well, that one note there is a little flat/sharp" or "I think it would be more realistic if you made this choice instead of this one" are a little more helpful to me as an actor.

I didn't even know this was posted here. I just sort of stumbled upon it.

P.S. I never said I was a trained singer. No one is going to confuse me for freakin' Barbara Cook. I'm an actor first and foremost. Updated On: 3/28/11 at 06:40 PM
