I've just started to direct Guys and Dolls and have just realised that the amateur released version of the show does not contain the much used Runyonland that was used on the 1992 version. Does anyone know if it is available? The Runyonland in the score is extremely long and lacks the wow factor of the 1992 version.
Does the 92 version just chop and change bits from Luck Be A Lady dance and Fugue?
I dont' remember much EVER being in the materials about Runyonland. I remember just coming up with a bunch of "street characters" and making it fun and making it work.

The script liscensed from MTI is very specific about Runyonland. There are 2 pages of stage direction for it.
The revisions made to the score for the 1992 revival are not available to license legally, but you may be able to find someone with a copy of the conductors score either here or elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure the original poster meant he preferred the MUSICAL ARRANGEMENT used in the '92 revival, and wants to know if it is possible to get his hands on it.
