Gypsy Record
Gypsy Record#1
Posted: 10/24/08 at 9:26pmI have an OBC recording of Gypsy, on a record. It is in mint condition, but I'm not into selling it. I was thinking about having Patti sign it when I see the show. It is the Ethel Merman rendition.

Why, in Heaven's name, would you even think of getting Patti to sign Merman's recording? Patti had nothing to do with it and he was a mere child when that version of the show was playing on Broadway.
Your idea is absolutely foolish.

Posted: 10/24/08 at 9:53pmIt is kinda odd but I'm sure Patti will sign it...whatever floats your boat. Was there a question though or were you just asking for feedback on the idea...?

I am sure she would be happy to sign it. I am sorry you were treated so rudely on here...it's a shame some people feel compelled to attack everything people say. best wishes to you!

Posted: 10/27/08 at 8:48pmI saw Patti sign a Gypsy memoir hard cover book two weeks ago without any hesitation.

If its mint condition I wouldn't get her to sign it. Personally, I would buy the new cast recording and get her to sign that if you really want something signed.
