According to Entertainment Weekly, Disney plans to make High School Musical into a stage show by early October.

It works great on film, but won't work on stage unless they change the story. It's just going to come across as boring on stage. If they do put it on stage, they need to at least show the musical at the end.

Well I guess I'll be the first to tell you this has been posted many times. We should let this thread die in peace now...

Unless perhaps you have a link to the article, is it different than the school production?

I think the thing that needs to die in peace in the Disney enterprise of Broadway, or else slow down and stop pumping out horrible shows.

It's already available for licensing for schools to produce, this happened several months ago. And has been discussed to death. I just hope that you didn't mean...Broadway. Gah.
