Are they coming to broadway? Do they have a theater yet?

I'm pretty sure it's going to the Broadhurst after Equus.

No. MARY STUART opens April 19 at the Broadhurst.

Their number one choice was the Nederlander but now that G&D is going there, it's pretty much a given that they'll be going to the Neil Simon. The Lyceum is another option, but is unlikely.

And you can count on Groff making the move with them too...

i agree with you totally, and i would love it too. plus they could take away some rows in the mezz too in the neil simon. hair would be great for neil simon. Groff wouldnt miss out on doing hair on broadway.

All I care about the Broadway run is that they restore some of the missing material, such as "The Bed."

The Neil Simon apparently because of 'THOSE AISLES! THOSE LONG AISLES!!'

The original Broadway production of HAIR ran over 3 hours - there is no way audiences would sit through that now. I can't imagine restoring things like "The Bed" or "Dead End" which were in and out of the orignal production anyway. Updated On: 10/10/08 at 12:50 AM

I saw HAIR for the first time here in St. Louis last night, and I loved it! I can't wait to see the Broadway production of it!

If it is the Neil Simon, they will wait a few weeks out of respect for HAIRSPRAY's closing notice. I would imagine HAIR would open early spring 2009.
