Anyone attend the final performance of Hair today and care to share their experience?
I must admit that although I saw the show quite a few times with the original cast, after reading comments about the replacement cast I couldn't muster the enthusiasm to see it again. But I'm curious about today's final performance.

Different than the Aquarius tribe but wonderful in their own way and own right. I was able to see them again last weekend and they were truly a compelling group.

Posted: 6/27/10 at 10:44pmI prefer the Frank Mills tribe over the Starshine or Aquarius. I was very disappointed in the Sodomy tribe. My memory of the Hashish tribe is cloudy.

Posted: 6/28/10 at 1:33amHow about the pretension of calling them "Tribe" as if no other cast ever felt like a family. Eww.

SingingBackUp -- don't know if you were serious or not....but at least the calling them "tribe" goes to the show. (But the idea of naming them is ridiculous to me.)
I can't imagine the closing performance would have been too emotional as it likely WILL be when the original revival cast closes the show in London -- as they have been together for so long.
What a shame that no one here seems to have gone -- I'd have liked to have heard about it. (And how suprising!)

I was in attendance yesterday.
The performance was really beautiful, with the cast giving so much love to the audience and the audience giving it right back.
There were some annoying people who felt it necessary to be a bit more interactive than they should have been, which was very annoying, but didn't detract too much from the performance.
Highlights:
-While holding for the applause after 'I Got Life', Wallace went over and kissed Kyle on the cheek.
-During 'Yip Up The Sun', Diana looked out into the audience and directed the audience to join in.
-After the dance party (which lasted longer than usual), the band reprised 'Age of Aquarius' and it became a sing-a-long thing with the cast and the audience.

Posted: 6/28/10 at 7:59pmI can understand naming the various tribes from a managerial point of view. When you are billing out costume replacements props etc you would assign it to which tribe it was going.

I've seen members of each company refer to the other as "Starshine" or "Aquarius" tribe.
There is a video floating around of the Aquarius sing a long at the end. Hopefully more videos will pop up on youtube, etc!
