Tonight is the final night of HAIR downtown at the Lyceum here in San Diego. I saw the show last night, really not expecting to like it as I was there only to support two friends in the show, I'd had no interest in the show prior, it was my first time seeing the show and really my first experience with the show aside from the actors fund CD, but hot damn this cast was awesome!!! totally energetic, great voices, a great band and maybe one of the hottest ensembles I've ever seen... (aside from TAKE ME OUT, of course...) for those of us in the San Diego area, and there are a few of us here, I know it's last minute but there are two final performances today at 3pm and 7pm. make an effort to get down there. it's an awesome experience. last night one of the original Broadway producers was in the front row and apparently had a lot of great stuff to say backstage. this is really all I can muster, I apologize. I'm still in shock. I may go again tonight. if you're here in san diego, go see HAIR, and if it's also playing somewhere near you, go!
